 EquityLeases was founded by a team of entrepreneurs with deep roots in single-family rental (SFR) management and real estate private equity. Our group also established:

• RentalDoors LLC — a Dallas-based SFR property management company specializing in efficient, tech-enabled operations.
   
• Builders Capital Advisors (BCA) — a land & Build-to-Rent (BTR) advisory platform serving developers and investors nationwide.
   

Collectively, our founders bring decades of experience in real estate and corporate finance. We’ve been on every side of the table — owning rental portfolios, managing properties, and structuring institutional transactions.

We launched EquityLeases to do something the industry has never had before: create a professional, confidential, and liquid marketplace for Property Management Rights™ (PMRs™). By aligning property managers, developers, and buyers, we’re unlocking a new asset class and helping operators scale with trust and efficiency.

Our founding team started out like many property managers and developers: running single-family rental (SFR) portfolios one door at a time. 

At the same time, we spent decades in corporate finance and real estate — structuring deals, raising capital, and working with partners. We learned firsthand that management agreements generate steady, predictable fee revenue, yet there was no formal marketplace for these contracts.

While mortgage servicing rights (MSRs) have long been recognized as tradable financial assets, Property Management Rights™ (PMRs™) in the SFR and BTR space remained overlooked.

• PMRs™ are recurring revenue contracts with real, transferable value.  
• Property managers and developers had no efficient way to monetize them.  
• Buyers and operators struggled with costly, fragmented door-by-door acquisition.  

We saw the opportunity to create liquidity and professionalize the exchange of PMRs™. 

 EquityLeases was built to:

• Give Property Managers a clean exit or liquidity option.  
• Help Developers pre-sell future PMRs™ and improve project returns.  
• Empower Buyers & Operators to scale portfolios faster, with lower acquisition costs.
